3 strikes and you’re out!

Feb 06 2010 Published by Parth under Affiliate Marketing

3rd day no sales – 3 strikes, you’re out. It’s time to change something. Really simple:

  • Get rid of free manuals on side bar, and put them under the free manuals section of the site
  • Reduce number of products on side bar

I’m still anticipating the TacFit launch, but that’s 5 days away!

Tacfit Commando Launch and Predictions for February 2010

Feb 05 2010 Published by Parth under Affiliate Marketing

Haven’t had a sale for the past two days. I’m looking forward to the TacFit launch on Wednesday. Just as a comparison, lets look at how much money I made during the Bodyweight Blueprint launch in September/November:

So I did 6 sales at $50 or $300. This was without doing any pre-launch work. So, now that I’m sending a lot of traffic to the TacFit mailing list, plus am getting traffic on my site for the TacFit product, I’m pretty confident that I can do at least twice the business (if not more).

So, i’m looking at around $600 just with the TacFit launch. I’m thinking I can pull at least another $100 with TT products.

I’m not very confident that that Bodyweight Blueprint mailing list will work, however I believe I can get at least 2 sales this month for the Kettlebell Revolution product.

Add all that to the $19 I’ve made so far this month, and I might be able to end February with around $800.

It all depends on how the TacFit launch works out. People are already starting to submit reviews on Ezine articles to prepare for the launch.

I’ve seen some PPC campains as well. So, I need to get pretty aggressive. Here’s the plan:

  • The night before the launch, put together a PPC campaign advertising the 3-day launch
  • On Monday, submit 10 articles to Ezine, so that they will be ready by Tuesday/Wednesday for the launch.

Bad Customer and No Sales

Feb 04 2010 Published by Parth under Affiliate Marketing

So, no sales for today, Kinda sucks. There was an order submit form for the bodyweight blueprint product, but for some reason the sale didn’t go through.

Just lost $50. This could have happened for a number of reasons including bad credit card. Some people are actually banned from purchasing ClickBank products becuase they’ve been identified as “bad customers”

Anyways, here are the goals for tomorrow:

Sales today: $0

Tomorrow’s Goal: $59

February 2010 goal: $1500

$ to go:  $1480.76

Really can’t wait for the TacFit launch. I’ve decided to set up the TacFit mailing list after the launch. Right now, I’m just going to send as many people to Coach Sonnan and Murdock’s mailing list.

I also need to write some content and promote some other products. Best way to make $59? Sell a high end product.

I’m thinking it’s time to do some more TTKbell promotion. Work for tomorrow:

  • Elance articles on Ezine
  • 3 TacFit Articles
  • Workout of the Month

More TacFit Ideas and Elance

Feb 03 2010 Published by Parth under Affiliate Marketing

Just received some articles from the virtual assistant I hired from eLance. I’ve hired him for 50 articles for $75. An impeccable bargain. All he’s doing is rewriting some of my older articles. At this point, I have decent SEO, so it’s all about adding content to keep things moving smoothly.

We’ll see if it pays off.

I had some other ideas last night. Basically,  the TacFit free workouts are no longer available. So I can create my own mailing list to keep people informed of when the TacFit product will launch (Feb. 10th)

I can use the TacFit articles to send traffic to the review page, and then get people on a Mailing list, until Feb 10th.

I will ask Coach Steer if I can give away the free workouts as well. If not, it still wouldn’t hurt to try to get people on a Mailing list, just so I can send them an email on Feb 10th. So here’s the revise plan:

  • Wednesday – Review TT BW Landing Page, publish elance articles, write 3 Tacfit Articles
  • Thursday – Write 3 TacFit Articles, create Tacfit Mailing List (ask Coach Steer about free workouts), put eLance articles on Ezine
  • Friday – Write Tacfit Review, load up Mailing list with “Workout of the Month”

“Workout of the Month” and TacFit

Feb 03 2010 Published by Parth under Affiliate Marketing

Thought I’d write a little something before I get to bed. I think blogging about this is getting me excited.

Anyways, I made $19.24 today. Not bad. But I still have a long ways to go. Tomorrow’s task will be to go back and load up all the mailing lists with “Workout of the Month” workouts and link back to Craig Ballantyn’s TT workouts,

TacFit is going to Launch on February 10th. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with it.

I have very little confidence that my readers will actually buy the product. I might just end up reviewing the product and doing some pre-promotion work.

Lets do some keyword research:

  • tacfit is getting 320 searches per month
  • sonnon tacfit is getting 16

The keyword “tacfit” also has over a 1,000 pages optimized for it. It seems like there are a lot of affiliates on this launch.

Hm….should I….or should I not? Coach Steer sent me the program, so might as well review it. It might come in handy in the future.

So, here’s the plan:

  • Wednesday – Load up all the autoresponders and put in 10 months of “Workout of the Month”
  • Thursday – Write TacFit Review, write 3 TacFit articles
  • Friday – Write 3 TacFit articles

Sales: $19.24

Tomorrow’s Goal: $57

February 2010 goal: $1500

$ to go:  $1480.76

Sales can come from anywhere!

Feb 03 2010 Published by Parth under Affiliate Marketing

Just had another sale. This one was for the TT Kettlebell Kickstart program. Thescreen-capture-16 lead came from a write-up I did on the TT promotion that ends tomorrow.

However, the individual did not purchase the TT promotional workout. He ended browsing through Craig’s website and found a program that he was interested in.

This just shows me that…a sale can pretty much come from anywhere! Your work is to capture as many leads as possible.

Your job is to talk about the programs in as many different ways as possible. Your job, in effect, is to be like a nagging mother.

I know it sounds bad. But Internet Marketing is part creativity, part used car salesman, and part nagging mother.

Either, way today’s total comes to $19.24. I’m $36.76 away from today’s $56 goal. I have 5 hours left in the day, anything can happen!

By the way, I finished creating the mailing lists for the free workouts. I loaded them up, and placed them on the side bar.

So far, two people have signed up for the Bodyweight workout. We’ll see how it works out. Here’s what it looks like:

Looks kind of strange, but it gives people an option, and allows me to capture more targeted leads.

Still learning. Until later!

Getting Closer to Automating my Income

Feb 02 2010 Published by Parth under Affiliate Marketing

So I just got my first sale of the month: $6.15. I mean, it’s not $20 but it’s still a sale. And as we’ve learned…it all adds up in the end.

But what’s interesting about this sale is that it’s a REPEAT CUSTOMER. This customer, we’ll call him Joe, first bought the Workout Without Weights basic program from me on December 10th.

It is now February 2nd, so it took him 54 days to take out his credit card again and buy another product.

He’s made me $15.05 so far.

He’s on my mailing list for the Workout Without Weights bonus. His last message promoted the TT Bodyweight for Athletes workout, but he decided to purchase the TT Circuit Training program.

This has happened before. I’ve had one other repeat customer using a similar strategy, and this individual made another purchase than what was suggested to him.

All this shows me is that the “Workout of the Month” idea is working to some level. I can grab a few sales here and there, even if their a smaller amount, at least they’re sales.

So, I’m still working on the idea I had last night. But after that idea, I’m going to go back and load up all my emails with “Workout of the Months” for up to 2 years.

This is pretty exciting. I’m getting closer and closer to “automating” my income.

Not A Very Productive Day

Feb 02 2010 Published by Parth under Affiliate Marketing

Certainly not one of the most productive days today. Over the weekend, I did some analysys and created a plan to follow for this month.

A plan that will help me break the $1000 mark, once and for all. However, I wrote an article this morning, then thought of starting a different website.

Then ate something, and then I thought of promoting another product, etc. etc. etc. At the end of the day, I’ve had no sale.

So let me share with you the stats for the last month, and perhaps through this process I’ll get some ideas on what to do for February 2010.

Here’s the latest screenshot:

screen-capture-15Yea, I know it looks pretty bad. The $276.07 looks like it happened so long ago. Well, this in January I made a total of $487.64, which is $135.37 more than I made in June 2009, my best month for last year.

So, the question is…what do I need to do make more than $487.64 for the month of February?

::TAKING BRAINSTORMING BREAK::

Here’s something I haven’t tried in a while: email marking. No, not just capturing emails, and sending blog posts, but actually capturing targeted emails and setting autoresponders that soft-sell a product.

I’m still getting around 400-500 hits per day on my site. A few people sign up to my free manuals i offer, but these free manuals are only on the menu bar, not on the side bar as they used to be.

If I have three manuals – one for Kettlebells to promote the Kettlebell Revolution product, second for Bodyweight to promote Bodyweight Blueprint for Fat Loss, and the last one for Dumbbells to Promote Turbulence Training, then set autoresponders that pump out articles and content to the prospect for 30 days, then…it’s worth a shot.

It’ll only take a few hours to set the whole system up. K, then, that’s going to be what I’ll work on tomorrow.

Lets recap what happened today:

Sales: $0

Tomorrow’s Goal: $56

February 2010 goal: $1500

Tomorrow’s Task:

  • Create Mailing lists and set up autoresponders for:
    • Kettlebell Revolution
    • Bodyweight Blueprint
    • Turbulence Training
